Healthy Chicken Tikka Bowl

Ingredients

Chicken & Marinade
  • 250g boneless chicken breast
  • 3 tbsp thick curd (yogurt)
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
Bowl Base
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice or normal rice
  • ½ cup cucumber (chopped)
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes
  • ¼ cup shredded carrot
  • ¼ cup purple cabbage
  • Onion slices
Sauce & Garnish
  • Mint yogurt dip or hung curd sauce
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • Lemon wedges
  • Black pepper or chaat masala (optional)

Instructions

  • Marinate the chicken with curd, spices, lemon juice, and ginger garlic paste for 20–30 minutes
  • Grill or cook the chicken until golden and slightly charred
  • Prepare rice and chop all fresh vegetables
  • Arrange rice, vegetables, and chicken neatly in a bowl
  • Add mint yogurt dip or hung curd sauce on the side
  • Garnish with coriander, lemon juice, and black pepper
  • Serve fresh and enjoy hot or chilled
